Ms. Ishani Fernando is a highly skilled and versatile educator and examiner, renowned for her expertise in Speech and Drama. Her journey began at the esteemed Good Shepherd Convent in Colombo, where she laid the foundation for her passion. Under the mentorship of Mrs. Daphne Lord, she developed her skills in Elocution, setting the stage for her illustrious career.
Transitioning seamlessly into the faculty of the renowned Daphne Lord School of Speech and Drama, Ms. Fernando embarked on a journey of continual growth and achievement. Her dedication culminated in the attainment of numerous certifications and diplomas, including the prestigious Licentiate Diploma and Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama.
Beyond these milestones, Ms. Fernando's repertoire of accomplishments is adorned with a myriad of accolades, each a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence. Noteworthy among these are the Licentiate Diploma and an Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama, Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners, alongside distinctions such as the Associate Recital Diploma, Public Speaking (LAMDA), Solo Verse Speaking (GOLD AWARD), and Prose Reading (GOLD AWARD).
